Text Without Looking!

Intrepid Control Systems presents Focustrate for Android - an app that allows you to text by speaking and listening. Focustrate has been specially designed with large buttons that fill your device screen. You don't have to look to text...just tap the screen. Focustrate makes it easy to have a text conversation when you can't look away from what you are doing.

Focustrate is free and available now via the Android Market app on your mobile device. Search for Focustrate.

Focustrate is easy to use...

1) Download and install the application from the Android Market	(click small images for full screen shots)
2) Open Focustrate
3) Press "Select Contact" button and select desired recipient from your contact list .
4) Press the "Send Text" button and speak your message aloud. Your phone will read your message back to you. If it sounds correct, do nothing. The "Cancel Text" button flashes for 5 seconds, the audio cue sounds 5 times and then says "Yes!" letting you know that your text has been sent successfully.
5) If you were not satisfied with the text, press the "Cancel" button and re-speak your text. (If you are having difficulties, speak slower and with more emphasis on distinct words.)
6) If you want to change contacts, quit, or go to help documentation online, press your device's menu button.

Tips...

Focustrate will read texts aloud only from the contact you have selected and only when the application is open. (In other words, you don't have to worry about your device unexpectedly reading texts aloud.)
